how we started

SYM Breakfast Program started October 1 2024 in collaboration with Teen Feed, UW’s Doorway Project, and Youth Care! There was a need for breakfast for young people in the University District, so we stepped up to join in the partnership to meet the need. The Breakfast Program is the first program we run in our day. Clients come to us as overnight shelter closes up and before our Drop-In center opens for the day at 10 AM.
